Hello!
Hi, I’m Anna, a dietitian & nutritional therapist, with 30 years of healthcare experience.
Over the years, my approach to health and wellbeing has evolved through my own lived experiences, and those of my family, living with the reality of complex conditions. Between us all, we have lived with digestive and gut issues, metabolic & energy challenges, and supporting kidney health — as well as the needs of sight loss, inclusivity, mental health and the cognitive demands of life and older age. Once we realised that all those body systems are fundamental to our health and wellbeing, it helped quality of life for everyone; and for me that included my own histamine intolerance and hEDS. That may sound like a lot, but common to many of us, we are never usually dealing with any one thing on its own.
Our journey through the healthcare system has been defined by knowing what we needed versus being left waiting, trying to get help when none was offered, and being provided most excellent care. Experiencing that firsthand, and after nearly three decades working in the healthcare system myself, I knew I couldn’t carry on in a system that can be there for one thing and leave us waiting for another — so I have built my own clinic and practice, based on what we have lived through.
True support for our health, nutrition and wellbeing shouldn’t add to the stress of our lives; it should help reduce overwhelm, protect our limited energy, and fit into how our body operates in real life.

About me!
At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to understanding you and the experiences that have shaped your health. My background in biomedical science, dietetics, nutritional therapy and mental health support, together with my own lived experience, allows me to bring clinical expertise and personal understanding to everyone I help.
I use the names Biomedic Nutritionist® and The Therapy Dietitian as my professional identities, and they have developed as the layers of my life and experience have evolved. Together they reflect the breadth of my background, and represent different aspects of me and my work, but share the same values and commitment to supporting everyone as an individual.
CellNurish is everything I have worked towards. It is the heart of how I bring my knowledge, experience and professional practice together in one place, and where I meet you in everyday life.
Above all, I am human, empathic, deeply caring and compassionate, with an inclusive approach to everyone.

Hi there, I’m so glad you found your way here
I know that reaching out to someone new can feel like a big step. I’ve been there myself, so thank you for stopping by. If you’re looking for someone friendly, who will take the time to listen and genuinely care about what matters to you, you’re in the right place.
You might just fancy a chat to ask a few questions and see whether I’m the right person for you. If so, an enquiry call is a good place to start. Or perhaps life has been so busy that you’ve not had chance to stop and think about your own health for a while. A nutrition & wellbeing check-in is a chance to press pause and check-in with me for half an hour, check in where you are, think about what’s important to you, and maybe work out some goals and what you’d like your next step to be. You might leave with ideas or goals to work on yourself, or you might decide you’d like a full assessment afterwards. If you already know you’d like a one-to-one assessment, I’m here to help too.
